Assign Controllers
To display informational overlays on your stream, you’ll need to assign controllers (tatamis) to the stream. This process allows the streaming app to pick up real-time data and display it as overlays on the live stream.
Prerequisites
Before assigning controllers, make sure you are familiar with creating tournament controllers and scheduling bouts. For more details, refer to the Tournament Scheduling Guide.
Step 1: Access Live Stream Setup
-
Go to Tournament Administration: Open your tournament administration page and navigate to the Live Stream section.
-
View Scheduled Streams: Here, you’ll see a table with all scheduled live streams. If no stream has been scheduled, you can do so by clicking the "Schedule Live Stream" button. For details on setting up a stream, refer to the Live Stream Setup Guide.
Step 2: Assign a Controller
-
Select Controller: On the right side of the live stream table, there’s a dropdown menu. Select the controller (tatami) you want to assign to the stream.
-
Enable Overlays: Once a controller is selected, the streaming app will automatically pull in the controller’s data and display it as information overlays on the live stream.
Step 3: Update or Remove Controller
- Update Controller: If you need to change the controller, simply select a new one from the dropdown.
- Remove Controller: To remove a controller, click the "X" icon next to the dropdown.
That's it! You’ve now set up information overlays for your live stream using tournament controllers.
