Tournament

This documentation covers everything required to set up and run a tournament using Kumite Technology. The system is divided into two functional areas: Settings for initial configuration and Management for event execution.

Settings

This section covers the foundational setup of your tournament:

  1. Create Tournament: Initialize and launch your tournament.
  2. Edit Information: Define basic event details (name, date, location).
  3. Create Categories: Set up age, weight, and skill divisions.
  4. Add Administrators: Assign roles and permissions to your team.
  5. Set up Registration: Configure sign-up rules and entry requirements.
  6. Set up Protocol: Configure PDF document templates (results, statistics, weigh-in sheets) and page layouts.
  7. Message Center: Set up communication templates and send notifications.
  8. Upload Video: Attach promotional or instructional videos.
  9. Schedule Live Stream: Schedule and share live streams.

Management

This section covers active operations and event handling:

  1. Participant & Team Management: Activate members or teams, add weight, change categories.
  2. Draws: Generate and manage competition brackets.
  3. Bout Scheduling: Organize the order of fights and oversee live progress.
  4. Bout Management (For Secretaries): Manage bout scoring, penalties, and time.
  5. Bout Editing: Make manual adjustments or changes to fight results or details.
  6. Preview Screens: Configure public displays for tatamis or halls.
  7. Certificates: Generate and print diplomas or participation certificates.
