• Applications for the Championship must be submitted until June 30, 2024 and will not be accepted after the deadline.
• Applications must be completed and submitted only in the form specified by the organizers (see Appendix 1 and 2).

Weigh-in and accreditation of athletes

• Weigh-in and accreditation will be held on Augst 22, 2024.
• Address: Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, Sports Gyms, Prince Faisal bin Fahad Road next to Prince Faisal bin Fahad Olympic Complex.
• Each team and participant must provide: Participation fee is 40 USD for each participant.
• Feesmust be transferred to the following bank account and the receipt has to be sent to the above-mentioned email

Team composition

• Official team coach.
• Participants of the Asian Championship, men and women - 2 people from each country in each weight category (hosting country – Saudi Arabia - 4 people).
• Participants of the Asian Championship for boys and girls, juniors - 2 people from each country in each weight category (host country, Saudi Arabia - 4 people).
• Participants of the Asian Championship for kata – 2 people from each country in each age category (host country, Saudi Arabia - 4 people).
• Official team doctor.
• At least 1 judge from each country.

Participants equipment

• Each participant admitted to the competition must have:
• White KARATEGI and belt of the corresponding qualification of the participant.
• For male athletes - groin protection of a type approved by KWF (wearing groin protection over KARATEGI pants is not allowed).
• For female athletes –protectors for the chest protectors, sample approved by KWF.
• For boys and girls 12-13 years old, 14-15 years old, juniors and junior girls 16-17 years old - shin pads of a sample approved by KWF.
• For boys and girls 12-13 years old, 14-15 years old, juniors and junior girls 16-17 years old - hand pads of a sample approved by KWF.
• For boys and girls 12-13 years old, 14-15 years old, juniors and junior girls 16-17 years old - a helmet of a model approved by KWF.
• For boys 12-13 years old, 14-15 years old, juniors 16-17 years old - groin protection of a type approved by KWF (wearing groin protection over KARATEGI pants is not allowed).
• For girls 12-13 years old, 14-15 years old, juniors 16-17 years old and women, the presence of an individual groin protection is optional.
• Participants girls are allowed to use a chest protector of the following type: the upper limit of the protector is at the level of the second ribs, the lower limit of the protector is not lower than the edge of the costal arches, the lateral limits of the protector are along the anterior axillary lines; the protector should protect at least the chest; the protector should not have plastic elements.
• If an athlete has braces on his teeth, a mouthguard is required. The mouthguard must be selected according to size.
• All participants (girls) of the Asian Championship must wear a white T-shirt under the Karate-Gi.
