OPEN KYOKUSHIN PORTUGAL 2026

Dear Shihans, Senseis, Sempais, leaders, organizations, federations, associations, and dojos of Kyokushin,

On behalf of the Kyokushinkai Association of Portugal, it is with great honor and satisfaction that we extend this invitation for you to participate in the OPEN KYOKUSHIN PORTUGAL 2026, an event that will take place on October 17, 2026, in the parish of Mindelo, municipality of Vila do Conde, Portugal.

More than just a competition, this Open aims to be a great gathering of the Kyokushin family, bringing together practitioners from different organizations, styles, countries, and generations in an atmosphere of friendship, respect, sportsmanship, and sharing experiences.

After a period of transition, this historic event returns to its roots. Vila do Conde, the birthplace of Portuguese Kyokushin, will once again host one of the most emblematic events of the discipline in Portugal, whose first edition took place in 2002.

OPEN KYOKUSHIN PORTUGAL 2026 aims to establish itself as a space for unity and cooperation among all those who devote their lives to the development and promotion of Kyokushin. Regardless of the organization we represent, we are all heirs to the same values transmitted by Sosai Masutatsu Oyama: respect, humility, perseverance, courage, and the spirit of overcoming.

It will be an honor to welcome your delegations, athletes, coaches, referees, and leaders, working together for the success of an event that aims to dignify Kyokushin and strengthen the ties that unite our national and international community.

Your organization's presence will constitute an important contribution to the appreciation of this initiative and to the promotion of the highest principles of our martial art.

We count on you to make OPEN KYOKUSHIN PORTUGAL 2026 a grand celebration of Kyokushin, of friendship among peoples, and of the spirit of "Osu no Seishin".
