Definitions

Data Processor - a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other institution that processes personal data on behalf of the Data Controller.

If you do not provide mandatory personal data, you may not be allowed to pay the License Fee, use the Website completely or partially. For example, if you do not provide payment information, you will not be able to pay the License Fee on the Website. Payments for License Fees are conducted in accordance with and are governed by Kumite Technology documentation.

Data provided by organizations (schools / dojos)

Organizations (schools / dojos) and Organization (school / dojo) administrators are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of any data, content, or information you submit to the Website, including but not limited to information about your martial arts school, its instructors, students, and events. You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents and permissions to collect, use, and disclose any personal data submitted through the Website.

We do not collect any personal data directly from students or other individuals. All such data is collected and processed by you and is subject to your own privacy policy and data protection obligations. You are responsible for ensuring that your data handling practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

You agree not to use our Website for any malicious purposes, including but not limited to, entering false information, impersonating others, or any form of data misuse. Any such activities will result in the termination of your account and may lead to legal action.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Website and its operators from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from the data you enter or manage on the Website. This includes any issues related to the accuracy of the data, consent for data processing, and compliance with data protection regulations.

The Website and its operators are not liable for any inaccuracies or issues arising from the data entered by School administrators. We provide the platform for managing your School's information, but the responsibility for the data lies with you.

Data Provided By Students

Students who register for an account on the Website are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of any data, content, or information they submit. This includes, but is not limited to, their name, email, school affiliation, contact information, personal information (date of birth, weight, rank, grade, sex), training history, picture, and event and tournament information.

By registering for an account, Students consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. This processing is necessary for the performance of the contract between the Student and the Website, and for the legitimate interests of the Website in providing its services.

The Website may also collect personal data from other users who interact with the Website, such as parents, guardians, or other individuals. This data may include name, email, and contact information. The processing of this data is also based on consent, performance of the contract and legitimate interests.

Students may choose to affiliate with a specific martial arts school. By doing so, they consent to the transfer of their personal information to that School.

The Website and its operators are not liable for any inaccuracies or issues arising from the data entered by Students or Other users.

We ensure that your personal data is:

Who do we provide your personal data to?

We may transfer your personal data to data processors/controllers who provide us with services and process your personal data on our behalf and (e.g. companies providing data center, cloud, website administration and related services, consultants, lawyers, external auditing companies, payment services providers).

We use only those data processors who ensure that appropriate technical and organizational measures are implemented in such a way that data processing meets the requirements of the Regulation and ensures the protection of your rights as a data subject.

We note that the above-mentioned data processors have the right to process your personal data only in accordance with Our instructions.

The Data Processor cannot use another Data Processor without the prior specific or general written permission from Us (the data controller).

Your personal data can also be provided in response to official requests of state institutions and courts, but only after making sure of the legitimacy of these requests.
