OBJECTIVE OF COMPETITIONS:
· Strengthening of friendly relations between sportsmen
· Popularization and promotion of healthy lifestyle and sports
· Popularization and promotion of martial arts and Kyokushinkai in Latvia
· Identification of strongest sportsmen among children

PARTICIPANTS OF COMPETITIONS:

KUMITE:
Weight and age categories will be formed in A and B categories based on the applications submitted by coaches and according to deadlines. If declared athlete exceeds his/her age or weight by more than 2 kg, the athlete will be disqualified.
As decided by Championship organizer, the categories can be combined.

A Category 6kyu and higher Belts
B Category 0-7kyu

Competitions will be held on 3 tatamis.

KATA:
U8 and U12 participants will compete in following KATA’s: Taikyoku 1,2,3. For the 1st place: pinan sono ichi.
U14 participants will compete in following KATA’s: Taikyoku 1,2,3, pinan sono ichi. For the 1st place: pinan sono ni
U16 participants will compete in following KATA’s: Pinan 2,3. For the 1st place: pinan 4,5.
U18 participants will compete in following KATA’s: Pinan 2,3,4. For the 1st place: pinan 5, tcukino, yantsu.

* Participation fee is 30 EUR. Kata and kumite 45 EUR.

RULES
The competitions are held in accordance with EKO rules.
Each sportsman should wear white dogi, belt corresponding to their qualification, personal protective pads and shield under kimono, chest protector for female sportsmen to be worn under kimono to not to cover solar plexus. Soft hand protection of white color, head protection and chest guard.

U8 (born 2018-2019) A and B
Boys weight categories: -20, -25, -30, +30 kg.
Girls weight categories: -20,-25,-30,+30 kg. .

U10 (born 2016-2017) A and B
Boys weight categories: -25, -30, -35, -40, +40kg.
Girls weight categories: -25, -30, -35, +35 kg.

U12 (born 2014- 2015) A and B
Boys weight categories: -30, -35, -40, -45, -50, +50kg.
Girls weight categories: -35, -40, -45, +45 kg.

U14 (born 2012-2013) A and B
Boys weight categories: -35, -40, -45, -50, -55, -60, -65, +65kg.
Girls weight categories: -35, -40, -45, -50, +50kg.

U16 (born 2011-2010) A and B
Boys weight categories: -50, -55, -60, -65, -70, -75, +75kg.
Girls weight categories: -50, -55, -60, -65, +65kg.

U18 (born 2009-2008)
Boys weight categories: -60, -65, -70, -75, +75kg.
Girls weight categories: -55, -60, -65, +65kg.

Adults (born from 2007)
Men weight categories -60, -70, -80, +80kg
Women weight categories -60,-65,+65kg.

U8 and U10 low kicks are not allowed.
U12 and U16 low kicks for B category are not allowed. For A category low kicks are allowed.
Hiza geri is allowed for all categories.

DURATION OF FIGHTS:
U8 and U10 - 1 minute of main time.
U12 and U14 - 1,30 minute of main time.
U16 and U18 - 2 minutes of main time
Adult - 3 minutes of main time.

AWARDS FOR WINNERS
1st place - cup, medal, and certificate
2nd place - medal and certificate
3rd place - medal and certificate

SPECIAL AWARDS
Cup for the best technique
Cup for short fight
Cup for kyokushin spirit

Each club will be competing for the Grand Prix - big “Memorial Cup”. Which club will take most points will be the winner. The point count will be as follows: 1st place – 3 points, 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point.

Judges Team will be formed at place. Each club or federation shall provide one or more-line judges and referee.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED UNTIL 18.02.2025.

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER 18.02.2025 WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
